Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Handled. Written so a human can read it.

1. The deal in one paragraph

Handled is a done-for-you service. You pay us, tell us about your business, and we build an AI automation that runs for you. We promise to have your setup live within 3 business days of receiving your full intake or refund you 100%. If the automation breaks after launch and we can't fix it, we refund you 100%. These promises are real, not marketing copy. Everything below is the legal version of that.

2. Who this is between

"Handled" or "we" means the service operated at justhandled.net from Thornton, Colorado, USA. "You" means the person or business buying the service. By paying for or using Handled, you agree to these Terms.

3. What you're buying

You're buying a one-time setup of an automated workflow tailored to your business, plus ongoing maintenance for the plan term. The exact scope depends on the plan you choose at checkout. Specifically:

Plan details, prices, and what's included are shown on the Pricing section of the website and on the intake form at checkout. Those details, together with your intake responses, define the scope of what we'll build.

4. The 3-day setup guarantee

We commit to having your automation live and tested within 3 business days of receiving everything we need from you — your completed intake, your payment, and any account connections required for the automation to work. If we miss that window through our fault (not because we're waiting on something from you), email hello@justhandled.net and we'll refund 100% of your setup fee.

5. The "100% refund if it breaks" promise

Our promise

If your live Handled automation stops working and we cannot restore it within a reasonable time, we will refund 100% of your setup fee and cancel any ongoing maintenance charges, no arguments. "Stops working" means the automation we delivered no longer performs the function we promised it would. It does not mean a third party (Google, your phone provider, your CRM) changed their policy in a way nobody could have anticipated — though we'll still do our best to find a workaround in those cases.

6. What we need from you

If we can't deliver because you haven't given us what we need, the 3-day clock pauses until you do.

7. Payment, refunds, and cancellation

You pay through Stripe at checkout. We never see or store your card number. Setup fees are charged once. If your plan includes monthly maintenance, you'll see that line item in your confirmation and on each monthly invoice.

You can cancel ongoing maintenance any time by emailing us — there's no contract lock-in, no early termination fee, no penalty. Cancelling stops future charges; we don't refund prior months unless we've broken something covered by the refund promise above.

Refunds for the 3-day setup guarantee or the "if it breaks" promise are issued back to the original payment method within 7 business days of approval.

8. Acceptable use

You can't use Handled to:

If you do any of these, we may suspend or terminate your service immediately. You're responsible for content your automation sends and for getting any consent required by law.

9. Data and privacy

How we handle data is covered in our Privacy Policy, which is part of this agreement. Read it.

10. Third-party services

To deliver your automation, Handled connects to services like Google, Stripe, SendGrid, OpenRouter, Telnyx, and others (the full list is in the Privacy Policy). Each of those has their own terms. We take responsibility for our integration with them. We can't take responsibility if one of them changes their terms, raises their prices, or has an outage that affects your automation — but we'll communicate transparently and find solutions when that happens.

11. Intellectual property

The automation template logic, our website, code, and infrastructure remain ours. The specific configuration we deploy for you (your prompts, your phone numbers, your data) is yours — if you cancel, you can ask for an export. Content you generate or receive through your automation belongs to you.

12. Warranties and limitation of liability

Please read this section carefully — it limits what you can recover from us.

Beyond the specific guarantees above, the service is provided "as is" without other warranties. We don't guarantee that AI-generated messages will always be perfect, that third-party APIs will never go down, or that your automation will produce a specific business result.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Handled's total liability for any claim arising out of this agreement is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages. If the law where you live doesn't allow these limitations, the limit is the smallest amount the law permits.

13. Indemnification

If we get sued because of how you used Handled (for example, you sent SMS messages without proper consent and got hit with a TCPA claim), you agree to defend us, cover our reasonable legal costs, and pay any judgment or settlement.

14. Termination

You can stop using Handled and cancel any ongoing service at any time. We can suspend or terminate your service if you violate these terms, fail to pay, or use Handled in a way that exposes us to legal or platform risk. We'll always tell you why.

15. Disputes

If we have a disagreement, please email hello@justhandled.net first. We'd much rather work it out directly than involve lawyers. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, any remaining dispute will be handled under the laws of Colorado, USA, in the state or federal courts located in Adams County, Colorado. Both sides waive any right to a jury trial.

16. Changes to these terms

If we update these Terms in a way that affects existing customers, we'll email you. The effective date at the top of this page tells you the current version. Continued use of Handled after a change means you accept the updated terms.

17. Everything else

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our failure to enforce a provision once doesn't waive our right to enforce it later. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and your order confirmation, are the entire agreement between us about Handled.
