Privacy Policy

Handled ("we," "us," or "our") operates justhandled.net and the Handled Personalizer tool, including its MCP connector. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and how you can contact us about it.

What data we collect

When you use the Personalizer tool, we collect:

• The prospect data you submit (names, company names, and website URLs). This is the data you provide directly.
• Your IP address, used solely to enforce a per-day rate limit on free previews and prevent API abuse. It is not used for tracking or advertising.
• Your email address, collected by Stripe at checkout and stored in our database so we can send you a receipt and a link to your results. We do not use this for marketing without your consent.
• Basic session metadata: timestamps, line counts, payment status, and Stripe session IDs.

We do not collect account credentials, payment card numbers (these are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers), or any data beyond what you explicitly provide.

How we use your data

• Prospect names, company names, and website URLs are sent to Anthropic's API to generate personalized opening lines. Anthropic's own privacy policy governs their handling of this data.
• Website URLs are fetched by our servers to retrieve publicly available text from each company's homepage. We do not store the full page content — only a brief excerpt used to inform the generated line.
• Your email address is used to send a one-time receipt and results link. We do not send marketing emails.
• IP addresses are used only for rate limiting and are not linked to your identity or shared with third parties.

How long we keep your data

Session data (prospect lists, generated lines, payment status) is retained for 90 days, after which it is deleted automatically. Unpaid sessions where no purchase was made are deleted after 7 days. If you would like your data deleted sooner, contact us at the address below.

Third parties

• Anthropic — our AI provider. Prospect data is sent to their API to generate lines. See anthropic.com/privacy.
• Stripe — payment processing. Card numbers and billing details are handled entirely by Stripe. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Supabase — our database provider, hosted on AWS. Data is stored in the US. See supabase.com/privacy.
• Vercel — our hosting provider. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• SendGrid — used to send receipt emails only.

We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising.

MCP connector

When you use the Handled Personalizer through a Claude connector or any MCP-compatible client, the same data practices apply. Prospect data you provide through the connector is processed identically to data submitted through the web interface. No additional data is collected by the connector itself.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your session data at any time by emailing us with the session ID shown on your results page (or the email address you used at checkout). We will delete your data within 5 business days.
